The theme for Catholic Schools Week this year is Catholic Schools: Learning with Pope Francis to Care for Our Common Home. Here in Kilberry N.S. we have been celebrating Catholic Schools Week through art, song and prayer.

Fr. Hannon joined in our whole school Prayer Service on Wednesday in celebration of St. Brigid’s Day and Catholic Schools Week.

The children, led by Mrs. Prendergast, read and sang beautifully and the Senior Classes collaborated to provide the music on tin whistle.

All of the beautiful artwork the children created over the week was on display for our prayer service.

Fr. Hannon led us in prayer.
