Kilberry Basketball Club

small_basketball

Our basketball club has been up and running for the last few months in preparation for the Cumann na mBunscol Basketball leagues.

Kilberry welcomed Moone N.S. on Thursday last. Both our girls’ and boys’ basketball teams played some excellent basketball and displayed great skill and determination. Although Moone were winners on the day, our boys’ and girls’ teams gained some valuable court experience as most of our players made their league debut! Well done everyone.

Cumann na mBunscol Football Results

Our Senior and u10’s teams were both in action this week against Grange. After a great team performance, our Seniors were defeated by a strong Grange side. With other teams level with us on points, we must now await other results to determine whether we progress on score difference.

The u10’s team booked their place in a semi final today with a great win over Grange. The team were leaving nothing to chance and battled all the way to the final whistle defending and driving at the opposition at every opportunity.

Well done to all our teams as they continue to do Kilberry N.S. proud!
